Jump on the ‘Band’ wagon!
There are five band levels:
INTRO CLASS: Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:00 PM
PRIMO BAND: Tuesdays from 7:15 – 8:15 PM
MEZZO BAND: Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:30 PM
AVANTI BAND: Wednesdays from 7:00 – 9:00 PM
BIG BAND: Fridays from 3:00 – 4:30 PM
To become a New Ventures Band member, you will need:
• A desire to learn a musical instrument and perform with the band.
• A musical instrument — rented or owned.
• A commitment to attend a weekly rehearsal held at the Orange Hall, 397 Ontario Street, Cobourg.
• Time for some regular home practice.
• Your membership investment as noted.
Your Investment
To join the band you will need:
- To rent or purchase an instrument.
- A method book (about $10) for skill development.
- Pay annual dues – $150 (May be subject to change annually).
- A band uniform shirt for performances; ($35 – $40).
- A name badge (about $10) worn at performances and rehearsals.
- Black pants, black socks and black shoes for all performances.
